About DentalBlogger.com

DentalBlogger.com's basic aim is to entertain and provide information in a way that "enlightens" consumers. BOTH dental consumers and dental professionals are encouraged to join and provide questions, data, stories, and opinions.

DentalBlogger.com is administered by a dental communication specialist (RAC) and a dental website developer (TEC). While neither administrator is or has been a dentist or worked in a dental office - both administrators are consumers and see the benefits of good dental health.

Rather than based on dentists talking to dentists - DentalBlogger.com focuses on developing a better rapport with the consumer. Dental health is important - you can live longer, eliminate pain and embarrassment, and possibly, even avoid a heart attack along with achieving other mental and physical health benefits.

Dental technology and techniques have changed dramatically in the last 5-10 years and more consumers should have this awareness. With the overload of information out there about everything under the sun, DentalBlogger.com seemed to be a good way to pierce the fog of 19th century dental concepts most consumers are still shrouded in.

DentalBlogger.com's ultimate, altruistic goal: Fewer people should fear dentists and the dental visit. Fewer people should avoid taking care of their teeth. More people should understand the VALUE of going beyond their dental insurance coverage "limitations" and see any out of pocket expense as an appropriate escape hatch for a better life.

While DentalBlogger.com desires to be a promoter of good, advanced dentistry and the dentists that provide it, you will also notice that DentalBlogger.com has NO loyalty to status quo 19th century and obfuscating dentists and other dental industry participants.

This group of reprobates and layabouts (hopefully a small percentage) under-perform because of lack of continuing education; oversell their services without regard for our circumstances; and might also have an ethical boundary that seems to always be somewhere beyond the horizon.

DentalBlogger.com "might" also take various government entities to task if need be; but we will "start" with the overriding assumption most of us have that the government and the politicians who run it are blameless!
